New Features · Shopify Integration

  • AccountEdge now integrates with Shopify. Sync items and sales transactions down from Shopify, and push inventory items up to Shopify to help keep the store and books in sync.

New Features · Advanced Inventory

  • Count Inventory Changes — updates to scroll list display, counted quantity entry, filter controls, Reset, Adjust Inventory, and Bulk Import/Export.
  • Set Item Prices — new window with scroll list display and inline editing, Cost Basis popup, Bulk Price Adjustments with all methods and rounding options, item selection with checkboxes and Select All, Update Kit behavior, and Bulk Import/Export.
  • Item Information Edit Price — new single-item Price Information detail view. Unlike the Set Item Prices bulk edit scroll, it allows entering any of the four price-related values: Price, Gross Profit, % Margin, or % Markup, and recalculates the others. The Price Adjustments section applies a delta to the New Price inline before committing, and OK writes the new price back to the item record.

Improvements and Resolved Issues

  • Added Vendor Item # to the TO DO stock report.
  • Renamed "Name On Card" to "Cardholder Name" on Sales Forms.
  • Fixed an issue where the Freight tax field on a customer card failed to update correctly when using the Import feature.
  • Corrected a problem with Move Items where Serial Numbers could be assigned to the wrong location.
  • Resolved an issue with Cash Basis Profit & Loss; sales tax is now backed out on Historical Sales and Purchases.
  • Fixed performance lag when creating invoices while "Warn" is enabled in the Transaction IDs window and the prefix begins with a number.
  • Fixed an issue causing the first line to disappear when scrolling through Sales and Purchases lists.
  • Added Tax Breakout Fields to Sales and Purchases forms for enhanced reporting clarity.
  • Resolved an imbalance in the Multi-Year Spreadsheet Balance Sheet report showing unequal Total Assets versus Total Liabilities and Equity when running on a cash basis.
  • When starting a new fiscal year, Purge Sales and Purge Purchases processes now generate detailed logs.
  • Enhanced overall performance by optimizing screen rendering and limiting data file access to only invalidated regions.

July 1, 2026 Payroll Compliance

Federal

  • Federal rates are unchanged at July 1 — the lowest federal bracket is already 14% for all of 2026 because the cut from 15% took effect mid-2025. CPP, CPP2, and EI ceilings were set in January and are not changing at July 1, 2026.

British Columbia

  • The lowest personal income tax rate increased from 5.06% to 5.60% for 2026, applied as a prorated 6.14% for the second half of the year. The BC tax reduction also increased from $562 to $690, applied as a prorated $805 for the remaining six months.

Newfoundland and Labrador

  • The Basic Personal Amount increased from $11,188 to $13,094, applied as a prorated $15,000 for the second half of the year. Employees who already filed a TD1NL with the lower amount do not need to submit a new form.

Prince Edward Island

  • A new top tax bracket was added: income above $200,000 is now taxed at 20%, applied as a prorated 21% for the second half of the year.
